The cattle have been cleared and gradually, over the week have been replaced by a small tented village on Midsummer Common. It’s the annual Strawberry Fair kicking off the festival season on the first weekend of June. The fair is for one day only (tomorrow, Saturday) and is free to enter. A magical mix of entertainment, stalls, bands and foods from most corners of the world.
Slightly damp this evening but hopefully a dry day to come for the expected thousands.
