The best tour guide ever .
We shared the tour with two Australian friends . Our guide Jonny was excellent . He explained the history of Cambridge and showed us buildings and parts of the city which we would have missed on our own and included hitorical anecdotes relevant to our friends . His own enjoyment of guiding visitors to Cambridge was evident from the enthusiasm and humour with which he shared his love and knowledge of the city and we were reluctant to say goodbye at the end of the tour . This is a must for anyone visiting Cambridge .

Jonathan was an excellent tour guide; someone who has lived and breathed the city as well as doing extensive research and having the "inside track" from his contacts within the historic buildings of the city. He tailored the tour at our request and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Great Ghost Tour!
Booked this tour as a company social event, got three fantastic guides who were knowledgeable and friendly.They were able to adapt the tour to our needs and were always quick and efficient responding to emails which made the organisation of the event a breeze!Really appreciate their knowledge and expertise in both the paranormal and the history of Cambridge! So many little details in the city you would normally pass by with so much history attached, and we all went back to explore places after the tour!Was a great talking point at work the next day! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent walking tour with knowledgeable host
Jonny was a brilliant host for our Cambridge city centre walking tour - hugely knowledgeable about everything, and more than happy to answer any questions. Although it was rainy, he kept us sheltered where possible and his cheery, friendly manner meant it was still very enjoyable. Learnt so much more about the city than I expected. Highly recommend!

Small, but perfectly formed, tour of the city
We had a brilliant tour, led by our guide, Jonny. We only had a small group, and the tour felt friendly, informal and perfectly tailored to us. Jonny’s knowledge of the past 2000 years of Cambridge history is encyclopaedic and he was able to answer even our most obscure questions! Would definitely recommend to both visitors and locals, who will still discover new things about Cambridge.

Private Historic and Ghost Tour
We visited Cambrideg over haff-term with my 4 children (age between 17 and 9). I contacted Jonathan a few days before our trip. He was very reactive by email and suggested a great combination tour for us that incorporated the historical highlights of the city and beyond with some spooky ghost (real) stories that my kids loved. I would highly recommend his tour for the flexibility and knowledge. He was also super entertaining and my kids did not see the 90 min pass.

Ghost tour
Keeping five teenagers (and two adults) entertained can often be a challenge but all 5 really enjoyed Jonathan's tour. it was just the right length and great mix of stories and history....Jonathan was warm and friendly and great communication before the tour....Well worth the money, a really good evening.The sign of a god story teller is you can still remember the stories a few days on....and that is indeed the case here!

I recently went on a tour with two friends visiting from America. Johnny was our tour guide and was fantastic! He was able to answer all of our questions, no matter how silly or serious. Johnny also created a unique tour specific to what we wanted to see and do in Cambridge. I would highly recommend the Cambridge Tour Company and Johnny in particular!
I took a group of about 20 students (pre-university) to Cambridge last Saturday and had Jonathan as a tour guide. My students and I had a lovely time. Jonathan was interesting (with entertaining stories) with a great combination of factual history and laughs. He was patient with students wanting to take pictures and those who walked much slower in the back. He was so enthusiastic. I recommend him for individual tourists and school trips alike! 5 Stars 🙂

I can thoroughly recommend the spooky ghost tour as an unusual way to see the sights of Cambridge. Jonathan was a great tour guide, with just the right mix of spookiness, fun, and interest, with many stories that our group hadn’t heard before, despite us having been students at the University a number of years ago! A great way to spend an hour in this super city.
Evening Cambridge ghost tor with Jonathan is a definately a recommended thing to do in Cambridge city centre. If you like to know more about Cambridge in spokey way or even just a walking tour. My partner and myself enjoyed every moment to the places John has shown us. It is relaxing, very details, very clear information. A must do if you have are taking a few friends to visit Cambridge, it would be ideal to use this company service.
