Prince Charles was welcomed at Peterhouse, the oldest of the Cambridge Colleges, to formally open some new student accommodation. Charles was himself a student here in Cambridge at Trinity College way back in 1967.
The building has been name the “Whittle Building” after Peterhouse alumni Sir Frank Whittle who developed the jet engine.
