Traveling to Cambridge
Cambridge is served by several bus routes and also the train.
The main rail station is about a mile from the city centre. A walk to the centre takes about 25 minutes but buses and taxis are also available. (Please note there is now a second Cambridge Rail Station – called Cambridge North – but this is NOT the one that you want!)
Driving in the city can be challanging with all the restricted roads and parking is expensive.
If arriving by car a good alternative are the 5 “Park and Ride” sites located at the the entry points to Cambridge.
Plenty of free parking and a bus into the city centre evrey few minutes costing £3.50 for a return ticket.

City Centre car parks include The Grand Arcade, The Grafton Centre, Park treet, Queen Anne – all within 5-10 minutes walk of the city centre.
